um, i just wanna say that it has been so hard to draw lately. i worked full time last year, so I barely drew at all. Im not working rn but have zero motivation to draw/ have lost skill. please let me know if yall feel the same sometimes. this sucks.

thanks for the reply. Rn I am starting to force myself to even if it feels like, just bad. everyone says that you should draw, even if a little bit every day, but it's so hard now

for me drawing random doodles can sometimes spark creativity and the urge to make something. if nothing else it also helps keep me from getting rusty. I understand entirely what you mean with it feeling bad, when i make something forced it just feels empty and gross but i often find myself returning to those pieces after time has passed and seeing something new in them urging me to refine them with more feeling.
