Wild horses of Thalija
The wild horses of Thalija are a friesian like breed with all characteristics of a friesian and a average height from 15 to 17 hands, but even 18 hands can occur. There isn't much known about them yet and we are still discovering more herds and horses to watch their behaviour and their life. Most of them are completely wild, but when we know a bit more about them, maybe we can manage to befriend some of the lonely Stallions and Mares that don't belong to a herd.

Range Trotters are the result of crossbreeding Orlov Trotters, Finnhorses, Welsh Cobs (section C & D) and Hanoverians. Later crosses of Quarter Horses, Paint and Appaloosas to gain color and to give a boost to their hardiness. With a height average of 13-15 hands, they're a hardy breed with characteristics for various disciplines.

Created for use as work, carriage and leisure riding horses originally, they now serve as long-distance range horses, such as work with Park Rangers and mounted officers.

Willing and eager personalities, most are quickly trained to be bombproof and therefore trusted mounts in all lines of work; some are being seen in local show jumping competitions, others are notably used in therapeutic sessions for their calm temperaments. Harness races and endurance trials are common for the breed, as they are able to sustain an extended trot without tire. Cross-Country competitions see some of the taller Trotters, but due to their cob lineage this is still uncommon.

Despite the variety of competitions and work these horses are being seen in, they are still famously skilled as endurance racers. Many competitors have chosen Range Trotters due to their tireless work ethic, as well as the ease in which they can be trained. Many have become champions in endurance trials, and they have quickly become a sought after breed for their natural ability.

Welcome to Pine Valley Ranch adopts! Every user will be able to claim a randomized founder to start off! After that, Pine Valley quarter horses can be “bought” through the auction center! All adopts beside customs will be free. Our auction center currently had two options, both with limited slots! Option one is applying for a horse in the loose auction pen. You have a 100% chance of getting a horse, and the base color and pattern will be completely randomly generated. Option two is through our main auction. You’ll know what color the horse is ahead of time but watch out! These horses are very popular and there is only a 75% chance of winning the horse you choose.

Image

• CS rules apply!

• Do not claim the species as your own

• These are not official pine valley horses and may not be used as such

• You may at least have a basic grasp on color genetics (know what makes up the base coats at least. Im not the greatest myself, but ill try to help anyway i can!)

• Do not make a cover

• Include phenotype and genotype

• You must be active in the species! Non owners will not be considered for an artist position. We want someone who enjoys and participates with PV!

• Please have discord! We have a discord server and that will be the BEST way to stay in contact

Welcome to our breeding facility! We offer both traditional and stem cell breedings to allow you to better your stock the best you can! Feel free to trade breeding slots with other players, or use your own PVQH.
Read the information below for a better understanding of how to breed your horses!

Image
- Do not post breeding forms unless Artists specify they have open slots
- Use the forms below do not make your own
- be kind! Genetics are funky and you may not always end up with a horse you want. We’re happy to take horses back that you do not want and adopt them out so they go to use
- to use another persons horse in a breeding you must have written permission
- you must own a founder to breed!
- You may breed 4 times a month (unless you have an item to allow otherwise)
- Artists may have 2 extra breeding slots per month

Traditional Breeding Form:

- Mares currently have 6 breeding slots
- Stallions have unlimited breeding slots
- Mares have a breeding cooldown of 1 week
- Stallions have no cooldown
- Foals have a 2 week cooldown before they’re considered adults/breedable
- Foals born after stats were implemented by 2 statted parents will have their stats determined by parents, not rng. 25% chance to have stats better than parents, 25% chance for worse, and 50% chance to be right in between parent stats

Welcome to Pine Valley Ranch adopts! Every user will be able to claim a randomized founder to start off! After that, Pine Valley quarter horses can be “bought” through the auction center or through regular adopts! We will also have regular adopts for those who want to adopt and not try out for auctions but I highly recommend to do both!

Image

• CS rules apply!

• Do not claim the species as your own

• You may only apply for 1 auction horse per round (per person) Meaning you can apply for 1 option at a time. Pre-rolled genetics, or completely random.

•You may apply for as many of the adoptable PVs you want, but can only win an adopt 3 times in 1 week

• Please be kind to all members of the community and staff!

• Do not rush artists. Horses may take up to 1 week to finish. Anything past that point please dm me!

• Do not remove Inkiings signature!

• If stored offsite, please credit Inkiing for the lines, link back to the PV thread and the design artist for the design

a dream my brain had from Human/Humanoid
by espen. @ Tue May 21, 2024 3:56 am [Reply]

dont ask...but if you wanna know this was from a dream, surprisingly not a horrifying dream

i was on this competition like glow up and the clock had already started and i was talking to my model and trying to be polite while also trying to get her into the chair so i could turn her into a green clown with elephant ears cause the theme was circus???? idek but i kept trying to find a good base paint and there were like 50 different facial cleansers, none of which ive ever seen or used before, and i could NOT for the life of me find a good base paint UNTIL i finally found an oval bottle of crayola face paint! I put it on my arm to test it and it like faded in and out of being opaque and i was like...good enough??? and i took a bunch more colors all in the same crayola round bottle and i kinda just ended up painting myself cause idk where my model went lol it was so weird but all i remember is this guy...
