Most likely, you just adopted the same pet multiple times on the 1st of September, and only used the code that appeared the last time (so you thought there was "only one" Lou). Here are the adoption records including adoption times:

I don't know what I think about this feature. I have a very uncommon name, (flameheart12), but I used the name flameheart when adopting before there was forums. I kind of like this feature.
But please, can someone tell me what 'XD' means?
