japanse101, Hiragana quest, there are plenty of free pdf files you can search for on google. Which are printable! This way you can practice strokes and form. you're going to need to do a lot of your own research to find what works best for you. Also free education via internet can only get you so far. You may need to slide a few dollars here and there.

I recommend focusing/learning to read and possibly write before speaking. Unless you have a means of talking/recording. I personally do not. Specifically starting with hiragana.

Can I just say finding a podcast to listen to while working is difficult. Maybe I need to start studying more to understand what they’re talking about. Every language studying podcast is either confusing or boring.

My personal recommendation is NativShark. While the price is steep, especially if you're only studying Japanese casually, it's the best study resource I've found to date.

Nihongo con Teppei has podcasts for beginning and intermediate students. Laid-back Japanese and Tofugu are decent, but don't exclusively cover language.

actually I'm pretty confident I've memorized the whole hiragana by now.

pronunciations are still a bit difficult though.

woah really? I haven't gotten hiragana memorized, i still need to learn gakutens
kanji is the most difficult which sucks because they're really important

pronunciation is something that came naturally with japanese being my mother tongue, so thankfully i dont have to deal with that!
