Pfffft I fell asleep and missed this rollover. My bad!
What a gorgeous cat. I really like its lil' stubby tail.
Anyway, I said I'd deny a cat on the 15th, and I said that for a good reason.
The penguin kitty is lovely and one of my favourite outcomes. I do love birds.
But it's not mine.

I'll leave you some more time to think about my two hints, though, and maybe before the next rollover I'll deny a cat of your choice c:

So far, the only thing coming to mind is the choice of the wording: "almost stellar" describing their last version before the official cat.

Most people are saying it's making them think of the Day 9 growth because it looks like galaxies. My thinking is that could be indicating either the day 4 or day 8 growth instead.

This baby has a moon on it's forehead. That could be interpreted as almost a star, or "almost stellar".


Similarly, this kitten has a star on it's forehead. Perhaps ZEL was hinting that their last ditched attempt didn't have this star, and was therefore "almost stellar".

He's called Hopper!

He's a little more simple than last year's cat, but let me tell you, getting the tail just right was a challenge in itself for me. Thankfully the fluffy butt on the teen worked well on its own so I didn't have to worry about that. |D

I don't have any story or the like for him, but I'm so glad to wake up to such lovely comments about him. You all get a cookie from me <3

To whoever can edit the hints chart: Lady Masquerade's "hint group" is a leftover hint from last year. It should be removed.
editting to add: I just realized in her hint she said the clue won't make sense until her cat is "fully grown"! Discounts the PPS maybe?

A'ight, you know what? I'll tell you a bit about my cat.
I mentioned already that there were quite a few ideas I had before making the outcome that I submitted for the litter.
Some of them are not at all related to each other and were discarded out of frustration for a lack of good results, or because on a second thought, the concept didn't seem all that great any more.
The last version before the one I ended up using, however, was an almost stellar design.
It only had one flaw (in my opinion), which led me to instead creating the cat you're gonna end up owning (that is, if you get the outcome :'3), but you'll find that they are very obviously similar.

as well as this message in their siggy:
"The most straightforward solution
is not necessarily the right one.

Anyway, I absolutely love little penguin cat! The tail is what I like the most actually, it was nicely done :3
