Oh! I should proooobably give a hint..
There are at least 2 similarities between my outcome last year and this year ! ^^

Well.... that could mean a lot. xD

Last Years and only other Staff Cat from Swishy & Broken:

Kitten Stage Day 10 / Cat Stage Day 20:


Options:
> line edits on both Kitten and Cat outcome
> detailed and fine linework
> used all colors in both outcomes
> designs stay nearly the same between Kitten and Cat stage
> cats have lots of pattern
> wasn't a "cat"

> had one big base color and used all others for details
> had hard brush shading no soft shading in either design
> had paw shading
> had inner ear shading
> had darker eyes with bigger pupiles
> had no wiskers

Also just found this on my check round... could this be an early hint?
Were created on 18. January 2021 and 29. Mai 2021 so technically before the litter came out. Will keep my eyes on it though. <.<

Actually Starfruit's kitty stage is the only cat I made that didn't have any line edits :D All the adults have some - Jasper's tail is shorter than the regular cat lineart on both the kitty and the adult stage

Tbh baby Starfruit would've had edits too if it weren't for the fact that I was so late with making it that I literally submitted that one after rollover lolol

I wrote it like that to remind everyone/myself that even though a kitten doesn't have a line edit it could still be yours.
Because that was what threw me off last year round. ^^'

I've stayed true to myself this year once more and submitted my final design on the 31st, because heavens forbid we have a year where Simon won't have to smack me with a broom
Though actually I did think ahead this time and sent him an emergency middle stage, in the case that I didn't manage to finish the proper one in time.
It all worked out, though, so you're getting the one I had in mind!

It also means t hat ZEL can make wonderful kitties even without having enough time to do so 😊

This was an awesome analysis. And after reading it, I just realized I didn't do one of my typical characteristics this year. >.>

This kitty could be | Aloy |‘s kitty. I think this because the one line edit is the tail, as was the case with one of their kitties in the past, but that one had a bushy tail. The kitties tend to have a pattern, in this case it might be the coloring where the top is dark, the bottom is light. The nose stands out, too. The base color normally is one big color with very few details (the bottom half) which also covers the paw shading. The eyes are not violet or blue, but that could also be the different ‘typical characteristics this year’ versus past years. Plus this one doesn’t seem to match up with past kitties from the other participating staff. Of course, I have been wrong many times over, but with 3 kitties that have grown, it is time to start guessing!




I’m thinking this kitty may be Wobbuffet’s kitty. 2 of Wobb’s 3 kitties had small details - melon & feather for one, and helmet and socks for another - added to them. This one has the wand, and is winking. The Dove can both be tied to magicians who use them in their act, but also with fairies, or at least Disney Fairies. “Doves are birds that helps warm-weather fairies brings the three seasons to the Mainland the same way Snowy Owls helps Winter fairies brings winter. They are used for carrying important equipment, especially by Tinker-talent fairies.” (from https://disneyfairies.fandom.com/wiki/Dove).

So this is why I am thinking this one may be Wobbuffet’s.




I’m thinking this kitty could be Eagle’s Eye. It has no line edits so far. The base is a softer shading and the details are both hard and soft, and the eyes are a little different from the other kitties. The paws are shaded and so are the ears to match the paws. The whole tail is shaded differently and there is that little heart on the chest. Oh, and this kitty is not a cupcake 🧁

These are just my first thoughts on these 3 kitties. I’ve been known to be hanging out in left field so I’m sure my logic may be a bit “illogical”, but I wanted to throw out my first thoughts for now and see how I feel as other kitties grow.

I'm not going to confirm or deny - but I wanted to say thanks for guessing! Watching people guess which cat belongs to each of us, and giving an explanation why, is really the highlight of doing this litter <3
