is this trade fair? my trading partner said it wasn't, but i followed horrors list so i'm not sure if i read it wrong or not - any help is greatly appreciated!! <3

Malk Grown Valentine's Dog - .5-.75 MA

Your side:
Copper Malk Dragon - 2-3 09 rares, .5 MA
Gemsbok Butterfly wolf - 1 MA

Following Horror's list, this trade is fair. There could be any number of reasons why they said it wasn't fair, such as following another list or just liking their own pets more. But you followed the list and this is a relatively equal trade, maybe short an 09 rare or 2 if they value the PPS at .75 MA rather than .5 MA

Yes, this trade is fair! When trading up uncommons to rares, rather than the 2:1 rule, many people prefer the 4:1 rule (1 uncommons of the same year = 1 rare of the same year).

Valentines malk pps is 1MA
So their side is a solid 1.5ma total.

The copper malk dragon is .5 ma
The gemsbok bwolf I can’t find much on past a general .5 to 1MA value and no demand.
Totaling your side to between 1 and 1.5 ma.

So at potential value it would be considered fair. They might believe it’s unfair because malk pets have a good demand, they might value their PPS at .75ma over .5ma and are valuing your pets at their lowest side. There could be a few reasons why they think it’s unfair but technically speaking it’s not an unrealistic offer. <3 (:

A lot of this trade is dependent on if you follow the 2:1 unncommon to rare ratio or 4:1 uncommon to rare ratio, so I'll give the values for each! Either way, this is overpay on their side.

Their side:
2 2011 uncommons = 1 2011 rare/.5 2011 rares = 2 2012 rares/1 2012 rare
6 2012 uncommons = 3 2012 rares/1.5 2012 rares
1 2013 uncommon = .5 2012 rares/.25 2012 rares
Total: 5.5 2012 rares/2.75 2012 rares

Your side:
1 2012 rare
7 2021 rares = 3.5 2020 rares = not enough to equal any 2012 rares
5 2021 uncommons

When dealing with large gaps in years like this, the newer pets really aren't worth much at all compared to the older ones! So they're overpaying by about 2-3 2012 rares

Malk egg is three month rule, green ornament dog and stary owl are regular 09 very rares so three month rule or 2 09 rares each

This wouldn't be fair at all - zodiac dogs are worth about .5 MA or 2-3 09 rares, while the longtail shima goes for 2-3 MAs. If your side is the zodiac dog, you'd have to add 1.5-2.5 MAs worth.
