A question for the masses: what is your cat's favorite activity?

Rock collecting!

This may have always been there, but I don’t know, so I thought I would mention it to see. In Ashki’s Interests, it says Corgis! And in their signature, there is a link (the heart one) that goes to this photo:

Perhaps it was always there, but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to bring it up to get verification it was always there if nothing more.

Just wanted to confirm that this has been there for awhile, nothing new and not a hint! That's my boy Mochi :) Though I suppose I should update that picture - because I now have two Corgis. This is Boba!

This being Aurora's kitten, I have a few ideas

Hints so far:

Nothing to sea here

Doesn't eat

Prefers the beach

based off more than one living thing

"Swimming with the fishes"

*Light*


I do also want to add in their scene dress up

And the fact they said "One of the living things they are based off is found in the ocean, but the overall inspiration has nothing to do with water." in the comment above me.

Also note there is a green mushroom peeking out from behind the cat.

At first I thought coral reef, but coral eats.

However, after doing some research I found out marine fungi (ocean mushrooms) ARE a thing and don't eat.

I don't know if that's too board, but that's what my guess would be. fungi. (Mushrooms)
There is also something called the coral mushroom that would explain its tail. There also also some mushrooms that are bioluminescent which would not only explain the *light* hint but also potentially the one green eye.

If not I hope this helps someone else.

Also FUNgi fact (don't hate me):
Some marine fungi can actually WALK across the ocean floor. Wild.

I’ve been super unlucky with the staff litter pets this year! I wanna get my hands on all these guys^^
I currently have 5 growing cats and that feels like a small amount

I'm still sticking to my guns that Aurora's kitty is based on algea tho. That's my finally guess LOL I don't really have any other clue after that unless another hint gets dropped

Catmother456 and I have concluded that tonight's grown kitty belongs to Dama!


Our reasoning is as follows:
- No line edits
- Not a PPS
- Use of dots (Dama's past designs have used a lot of little "particle" effects, like dots, stars, or diamonds)
- Design on the bridge of the nose (Dama's previous staff pets have had designs on the nose bridge)

...aaand that's about it. I know Dama said the kitty was based off of something in the natural world, but I do not know what this kitty could be based off of. We eagerly await a response!

Edit: The cat also uses all of the colors in the palette and it has one particular "base color".

Haha yes I can confirm this one is mine ^^ Her name is Mer, which is just simply 'sea' in French. I was trying to make a seafoam or some kind of sea wave pattern on her body and tail - it didn't quite end up as I wanted, but I am quite happy with her nonetheless!
