Staff Litter 2023 Discussion Thread

Happy to say I've completed my collection! x

Rollover should for sure be fun! I figure one of these second stage pups will grow; I'm sort of expecting that final outcome to stay blanketed until the end of the month, or at least a few days longer. It's so fun scrolling through your group to see which one grew up! I might be checking the forum first, though, as I believe more pups in my collection this year than not were adopted a little late, if just by hours. :]

updated my Solloby guess back on page 43 so it makes a little more sense, n got the proper colour names for the pups eyes instead of being like “oo they LOOK green to me” cos tbh i cant tell the difference between blue n green half the time now to totally patiently wait to see if i got it right hehe

What a beautifully simple PPS! I'm so happy this little guy came first and didn't stay under the blanket for 20-ish days like what's happened in several past years (so unsatisfying for me lol)

It looks like he may have been based off of a watermelon? That's the vibe I'm getting, but, but the green legs look like he's wearing socks and I think that's super cute

I feel bad for making so many guesses but…


I think this pup could be Zeena’s!

• it has no line edits (which she mentioned in a previous hint)
• the lineart is black, like her previous staff litter pups
• the design is quite simple, like her previous staff litter pups
• the solid yellow and the brush used for the markings just seems fitting!

and…

I get the feeling that this could be Yagmur’s pup!
I don’t think she’s given out many (or any?) hints so there isn’t a lot to go off but:

• there aren’t any line edits (her previous pups have had little to no edits)
• it has a gradient (again, like her previous pups)
• it just seems like it fits her style in general!

But I also think that there are some flaws with this theory since I don’t think she’s ever had a staff litter pup with markings that cover the pup’s entire body like this outcome - but I figure it doesn’t hurt to ask about it nonetheless! ^^

[Concept]

Hey all! I know my pet has already been claimed/revealed, but I still want to give you all something fun based on the lore and clues I gave out before! So without further ado, I'll start some little story entries!

This one is based off the clue I hid in my signature:

Six ripples in the impact of my origin story.
They're more telling than you know.

Like most things, it began and ended in fire.



But that was a long time ago. The drifting fragments of what once was would begin again. Like the pinecone after a forest fire, seeds spread throughout the universe, drifting from the singular event and finding new life among the stars.



She knew what a blue giant was before she knew how to talk. Sometimes her people would approach them, hoping for resources or life anew. Sometimes, a few would drift off on promising planets. She was too young to pay much mind.



The unknown was vast. That was one thing she learned early on. There was so much in the world that she didn't know, and she was told so much of it. She'd always wanted to see it! What was on these planets? What was life even like when you weren't drifting through the currents of space?



She would find out!

The style definitely matches up with their previous pups, especially their 2022 pup! The shading, eyes and tail especially <3
