i'm also thinking...... maybe raire's doesn't have any bunny friends this year because it IS the bunny??? like... the bunny on the moon, maybe? maybe it is cousin's with koikee's pup?


and maybe aaron's cousin is codex's pup.....?

I think they were saying the one on the left is their guess, since they mentioned it possibly being cousins with Koikee's pup, which is the one with the stars. c:

1. Did your pup use all the colors of the palette?
2. Does your pup or adult dog have line edits?
3. Does your pup hang out with any of the other pups?
4. Does your pup prefer the beach, the mountains, the forest, or the desert?

Not an answer but you do not want to find the animal mine is based on, in any of those places, but for sure not on the beach. Which is a little sad because that's one of my favorite kinds of places.

I don't have confirmation from the other artists if they agree or if it would be Canon/in character for their pup BUT- in my mind I think Europa would **want to*** to hang out with Koikees, Raires, Dogtreats, Saiks, Doglikes (and maybe codex's but they might be a little intimidated 😳😳) outcomes 😀 ((((obviously any winged pups are OUT OF THE QUESTION))))

FleshCanvas, while I got you here, i have a lil theory for ya
You said your pup as based on names, and the pups in your staff litter pup spelled a few 4 letter words.
Those 4 letter words are all items that represent a color in the current staff palette
Yellow: king, suns, glow
Green: bush, leaf, moss, frog
Magenta: ripe, pink, coil (I thought coil would be something like bronze so it'd go under red-ish colors but after googling the word to doubel check got a bit lost ngl, maybe it's yellow instead?)

• So, considering these are color names, does this mean your pup was based on all of these words?
• Does "4" hint at something else other than "it was to make the single letter pup naming thing manageable"?
• Also... i'm just curious.... does ur pup sprout some extra heads once it's full grown?
• EDIT: one more question for ya, it's more of a request really... could you please give us a hint about the dates in the team page?? ;u; I'm guessing it leads to whatever outside inspiration you used for your pup but it's been REALLY hard trying to figure it out not knowing if it's supposed to lead to real life events, technology, entertainment, music, games or science developments

Also, to everyone else, I think the "winged pups" comment quoted at the top may be an important bit of info! but why would this pup be unable to interact with winged creatures?

This is Raire’s pup!

Ad Raire was right, this pup looks like 2018’s pup. He did go retro this year!



And he has a new friend, too!


Edit: I posted this on Discord but never here. But here were my thioughts

Now raire has said his pup is not really an “animal” or “mammal”
Well, there are debates on what an “animal” is. For instance, the NSW Animal Research Act defines “animal” in the following way:

animal means a vertebrate animal, and includes a mammal, bird, reptile, amphibian and fish, but does not include a human being.

However, invertebrate animals are wholly excluded. There is no other act covering these “non-animals”. As far as scientific research is concerned, no backbone means no protection.

Invertebrates can include worm, slugs, jellyfish, and insects, spiders,and crustaceans.

But it appears that raire’s pup will be heavy and doesn’t need wings/won’t fly/and isn’t concerned with the seasons. So maybe his pup is going to be a sea creature that is an invertebrate and is also heavy. Some of the bigger invertebrates can be the Japanese Spider Crab, Lion’s Mane Jellyfish, Giant Sea Spider, and Colossal Squid

So that makes me think the fish pup could actually be Raire’s pup, and with this classification, will not be an animal or mammal under this definition, but an invertebrate that lives in the sea

*a side not, sea spiders are carnivorous but some also dine on algae, so would fit the ‘eat protein and an occasional salad’ hint*
*and crabs also will eat animal and plant matter*

So I thought this would be Raire’s pup but I just never posted. I love your pup @Raire ❤️

EDIT: ah yea, well remembered, Tenebria!! oh yea, but i was a bit confused about that hint.... it could have meant that the pup was not based on the "ocean itself" but he never answered when i asked about it! x'D
