Very true, I never thought of this. Not to mention the glow-like features similar to PitchBlack's Halloween litter from a few years ago.

I love these guys and if they were just regular monthly pets they would be amazing but idk I just expect more pizazz for the staff litter.

Well, there's always the possibility they were made by staff members who aren't artists. In which case you can't exactly expect someone who's never done a pet before to make some crazy thing.

While I agree it's always nice to have crazy edits, I actually like the simplicity of these two^^

And in addition to them possibly not feeling comfortable enough to do edits, they may also just like the lines the way they are. You have to remember that each staff member does their staff pet as a personal design...what we like may not always be what they like.

There's always going to be designs like this in every staff litter and, at least imo, they're just as amazing as the rest of them. Not all of the staff members are artists and that means there will be some that don't feel comfortable with very many lineart edits, if any at all. I'd prefer someone to know their limitations when it comes to something like this instead of trying to go out of their comfort zone and making something that wouldn't look as good, etc.

and here I love the fact that the first to grow had three tails and a floppy ear and the gradient on the second looks like a starry night out in the country

it's so perfect though! spyro was a huge part of my childhood and i saw your pup and it was like duuuude. ;u; i'm so excited to see him grown up!

Oh haha I just automatically assumed all staff members were artists, the pups all look to good to be done by someone that is not artistic.
