Very well written story Bentley, I think you've outdone yourself! His tail is beyond unique & utterly gorgeous beyond perfection. The lines are so clean, he comes together so well. Well done! This is my new favorite so far, I almost can't wait until next year, & that's a year away.

Wowzers.

I have to admit I really didn't like the pup stage.
I can not express to you how much I hate horse/dog hybrids and 90% of similar hoofed animal/dogs.
They.just.don't.work.
I was dreading this outcome.

I really, really like the full grown stage though.
It's not trying to combine the two -
The edits are very nice.
And while the horns aren't prefect it adds character rather than taking away.
I may have to fight the demand and attempt to hoard.

This is the first one that has really surprised me in a positive way.

I loved the pup stage and your story for Lir is absolutely enchanting. Was there a reason you chose longer horns verse the more traditional short or highly curved ones? I love the adult, I'm just curious about your process and the aesthetic of your staffie.

I absolutely love it when the staff have detailed stories about their pups, explaining them and the world they're from. It adds that little bit more detail and effort, and it's always wonderful to know what they were thinking while designing a pup.

I went more for a wild goat feel than domestic, and wild goats have big - and sometimes not entirely even (sometimes damage, sometimes just normal wear and whatnot) - horns. ^^; To me, Lir's a creature of the wild, not of man, why would the goat half be of a short-haired, short-horned, livestock goaty? Nahhhh, the big horns and thick fur are better for protection out there.

I'm so glad you guys like the little hoofer, I was kinda... unsure. ^^; Figured it'd get swept under the rug, or something, considering the midstage wasn't all that incredibly popular (much love, still, for those that did enjoy it~).
