I don't really like the hair (I've never been personally fond of hair on dogs), but I love the body and wings

I agree but I feel like it doesn't fit well. I do love the body and wings though.

Also, has anyone else noticed that not only has the chicken smoothie link changed color from pup to dog but the .com part is missing on the dog.

Well obviously it would be this candle pup and another pet...
Normally if we're talking about parents the other one needs to be a dog as well, which leaves us only with one litter:

At first i thought it was sand, But imagine the glass pup is being filled with tree resin?
And did you know that there are tree resin- candles?

That's the combo alright! A couple other people caught it too,so now it's time to reveal!
Not that it's much of a surprise considering I was outed by process-of-elimination, but what can you do.

My original guess was Berkshire (page 690) |D but changed to Saikiyo mainly because a page or two when we were talking about it, Berkshire said they were cackling at how wrong we all were which is when they gave the 'Anah' hint. So I assumed meant we were wrong about the pet.

Knew it wasn't a shiny gem stone |D
And I may have been wrong about the artist 8D But I was correct about the inside pouring out! 8D guessed that back on page 507 of the original thread <33

Ah, Chena...
As much as I would like to write a fantastic and beautiful story for this pet, I can't. Because her story is my story.
It's one of those things that just sort of happens, you know? If you've made art before you'll know what I mean. I had a plan for this ridiculously edited thing with big ears and fluff everywhere but it didn't feel right. At first I ignored the broken bottle idea because it was so simple and wouldn't stand up to the rest of the staff litter. But I gave in and doodled it up. Then I added some hair (taking away the headfluff to get the smooth glass look was a terrible idea and needed covering). When I added the wings, I realized what I was doing.

I didn't realize it until I was nearly done, but I had somehow made a design that reflected everything I've been through this year. Recently, my offline life changed dramatically. I went through some pretty nasty things and came out a different person afterwards. I can't stay the same forever. Can't be an innocent pup anymore.

Turns out, sometimes you have to break before you can change.
And sometimes, change means that you grow wings.
