Staff Litter 2015 Discussion Thread V.2

Ah, Chena...
As much as I would like to write a fantastic and beautiful story for this pet, I can't. Because her story is my story.
It's one of those things that just sort of happens, you know? If you've made art before you'll know what I mean. I had a plan for this ridiculously edited thing with big ears and fluff everywhere but it didn't feel right. At first I ignored the broken bottle idea because it was so simple and wouldn't stand up to the rest of the staff litter. But I gave in and doodled it up. Then I added some hair (taking away the headfluff to get the smooth glass look was a terrible idea and needed covering). When I added the wings, I realized what I was doing.

I didn't realize it until I was nearly done, but I had somehow made a design that reflected everything I've been through this year. Recently, my offline life changed dramatically. I went through some pretty nasty things and came out a different person afterwards. I can't stay the same forever. Can't be an innocent pup anymore.

Turns out, sometimes you have to break before you can change.
And sometimes, change means that you grow wings.

If you have art of the original design, I'd like to see it too! But I'm glad you ended up with this - literal and metaphorical - reflection of yourself. I'm so sorry that people have to experience rough patches, and especially that it seemed tough enough to have leaked - again literally and metaphorically - into your art, but I can see the beauty in this pet and its experiences just as I hope you can with your own. But even though we're pretty much just foreign strangers to you, we're still here for you Just remember your own lil quote there:

Berkshire, That spoke to me, and the quote, made me cry, I posted it in my sniff in honor of my friend, who pushed through the impossible and broke, She changed, But she managed to pull through. And when times were hard, and she couldn't break and change, she then grew wings and took off. Thank you, Berkshire.

I don't really like the hair (I've never been personally fond of hair on dogs), but I love the body and wings

I agree, mostly because I'd rather have the option to put on different wigs than to have a set hairstyle though. That said, it really is a beautiful dog! ; v ;

Also I noticed the heart area was the main crack ovo

EDIT: She's now named "Caramelized Angel"
I couldnt help myself to dress her up so she looks more happy now ♥
Her friends came and brought her flowers and cake^^
Oh and did you realize the little fish in her body?
