Anyway, I noticed this just after my pups grew up, but this puppy definitely looks like an akita.



Plus, akitas are from Japan, and the blanket they came from definitely gave me a very Japanese feel, considering the pattern across it is Japanese Cherry Blossoms! (Maybe simply Cherry Blossoms, but since the pups do seem to be akitas, I can assume they would be Japanese Cherry Blossoms.)

They actually only fit adults, but it works anyway Cx
The elf hats are very much like the steampunk items, such as they fit most species. I know they also fit cats, and I can't remember if they fit ponies/horses or not.
