I know I'm late to the party here but I had to post my appreciation for this dog.
This is probably one of the most well-made, well-thought-out dogs on the site, in my opinion. The design, accessories, and lineart edits all flow so well together. I can't believe I didn't recognize it as Solloby's work from the pup stage, lol.
One of my favorite parts about this dog (and there are many xD) are those ear and tail edits. Those have to be some of my favorite ears on the site, along with the burnt dog's ears from the medieval faire. And that tail is so fluffy and well-drawn, I just love it <3 I'm sincerely hoping that we'll see these edits again in the future. The tail might be a little much to see regularly on normal adopts dogs (not that I would complain to see it again, by any means xP), but at least bring back those ears, Solloby? -puppy dog eyes-

was my favourite as a pup and I thought would still be my favourite but Solloby's outcome is tied with this one for first place <3

Yay one of my favorites grew.
I'm not sure how I feel about the tail, but the rest of the edits, flowers, and markings are all gorgeous, so I can easily look past that. Love this little girl's eyes, too. I wasn't expecting that color but it works very well.

Well, since Selcouth posted to say this dog wasn't his, I suppose I shall go ahead and confirm that it is, indeed, my dog. XD Though I did so love being compared to Selcouth so often, which is such a tremendous compliment, so thank you guys for making me feel so awesome. <3 <3

I was actually expecting everyone to immediately guess this puppy was mine as soon as it grew, because I didn't realize until AFTER I completely finished the pup that I did swirlies down the back two years in a row. >.>

BUT, many many cookies to those of you who were guessing that this dog was inspired by the saluki breed! The flowers, though, are not moonlilies, or were not intended to be. They were inspired by cherry blossoms instead. And also, I'm right there hating on the CS tag with you guys. XD You've NO IDEA how many times that thing was moved around. XD But trust me, it's best where it is.

So, if there's a theme to my staff dogs, you could consider last year's dog to represent the element of light, or hope; and this year's dog to represent the element of life, or faith, take your pick. ^-^ I've always loved the idea of elemental magic, so I suppose that's what is consistent between these two. ^-^

Oh my, I knew it! The first and only one I guessed right was Moonlilys!
Honestly it was more the flowers than the swirls that made my guess x3

I think she's absolutely beautiful, an amazing design.
