Well there's a couple that make me cry for different reasons)


Main 3 though that I can name are


Dancing Crabs (from the Sims 2 Castaway ost) mostly because nostalgia and memories..
Home - Resonace mostly because some how it mostly makes me feel empty inside and sad at the same time in an indescribable way.
And Professor E. Gadd's lab theme from the GC Luigi's Mansion (although I'm listening to it rn and it's not making me sad at all somehow) due to same reason of the first but way in a more direct painful way because I'll never get to experience them ever again for reasons. (Some of which are quite personal..)

Sam jam by covey: you heard this one coming,It’s based on a real event that happened to the singer’s sister who was having fun at a Starbucks cafe one day and she bumped into a man with coffee in hands, she tried to apologize but the man taught her a lesson by pouring hot coffee on her! (I’m like what a rude guy for spilling coffee on such a kind soul!)

Omori’s OST has some beautiful tracks that evoke tears, which you would not expect from a game with the “psychological horror” tab on Steam. Note: these tracks are not scary at all, don’t worry!

Home by Phillip Phillips never fails to choke me up a bit. I had a friend who was battling lung cancer and he was always in the hospital, Home used to be one of my favorite comfort songs so I sent it to him and he listened to it almost every day. Earlier this year he logged on for the last time saying he didn’t feel well and that was the last I heard from him. I’m almost certain that the worst happened and that song will always remind me of all the conversations we had.

Another song that makes me gooey eyed is I lived by OneRepublic. My cat died a some months ago and I played that song for him. It was like the goodbye he couldn’t say in words.Whenever I see the song in my suggestions I listen to it for him.

Such a beautiful and impactful song once you know the context. It deals with a dark topics, but I encourage looking into it if you feel able. The one song guaranteed to make me tear up every time it comes on.

big bird by ajj,,, sometimes hits a little too close to home.

also most of the slower gorillaz tracks, ESPECIALLY on melancholy hill. i’ve loved gorillaz since i was a baby, and sometimes looking back at their discography chokes me up :’^)

I recently discovered a sad Korn song called Daddy and it’s very darn sad! *crying and holding a raven plushy while I bring the song up)

I have a few songs that have been like that, but most of my current are just attached to the media i consume, so right now the main one is Duet from the omori soundtrack.

but in like regular song from then maybe Supermarket Flowers, Say You Wont Let Go and uhhh I can't remember the others.

there's also this one song in swedish that my sister sang on the funeral of a friend, but I'll keep that one to myself.
