It's very true, and I know for a fact it really cuts some people to the core.
One of my very very best friends is gay, and his response always makes me smile, but anytime someone says something like "you're so gay" or calls him a [censored] or other derogatory terms, he always just says "you don't say!"
I think it's funny because in some areas where it's very liberal, and there are large gay populations, it seems like the straight, pro open-sexuality population is more offended by those words then some of the less than hetero kiddos.
That being said, I just want to say that obviously that is not true in every case and that it is still a problem.

By god, I've figured it out, Johnson!
I've discovered the center of criticism and hate!
It derives from a deep self loathing
and inability to live up to
an impossible set standard. A fear of failure.
Now if they could all love what they do,
and use imperfections
to drive forward to progression,
imagine what world we'd be living in.
It's quite phenomenal.

Ah, time for day of silence again. I do support day of silence. the annoying thing is my friends are always like "i support gay people" & stuff then five minutes later they call something or someone gay.

~Howl For Me ♥
If you could only see the beast you've made of me
I held it in but now it seems you've set it running free
Screaming in the dark, I howl when we're apart
Drag my teeth across your chest to taste your beating heart
My fingers claw your skin, try to tear my way in
You are the moon that breaks the night for which I have to howl
My fingers claw your skin, try to tear my way in
You are the moon that breaks the night for which I have to
Howl, howl
Howl, howl♥

I agree with turtle (may I call you that? ;P), because I know school is not always a good place for people to talk about being hetero or gay, but I wouldn't say that it automatically make gay people the best people. At least that is what I get out of your message. I mean, I have gay, hetero and lesbian friends, and okay, gays and lesbians won't call eachother 'gay' or something, and it's true, they don't cure at others that much, but that doesn't state that hetero people are less. (wait...this sounds like the opposite than what I mean! xd)

Well...it reminds me on some kind of protest several of my friends do now, instead of people calling someone 'gay' as an offence, we call them 'hetero' as an offence back, it sounds silly to write it down here but it does help, at my school at least. Those bullies don't know how to response, really. xD
