What do you actually mean by "pre-made Lock Alpha"?

When someone makes an editable with Lock-Alpha already made on it.

I don't get it. If you have to 'carefully colour everything inside the lines' first then you might as well colour it without lock alpha in the first place?

How can you make it work on editables....?
It's not working when/if I want to colour in the cat/wolf/person etc.

It's completely up to you if you want to use lock alpha. It's useful for when you need to multi-color something and/or add markings so you don't have to be careful about crossing the line.

Are you sure you selected the right layer and clicked lock alpha while on it? Some editables have a bunch of color layers.

Ok...let's say I have an adoptable in adoptable oekaki. I made this a while ago, and I want to start hiring artists now, but I don't want them to mess up the lines. Did I have to do lock alpha while I was drawing the picture, or can I go back later and edit it to make it lock alpha? And plus, thanks for the tut, but I still don't get it :embarrassed:
