The only downside to the beautiful town ordinance is I don't get flies or ants and I still don't have them in my museum :(. Can't change the ordnance now though, I have hundreds of flowers and that would be so time consuming to water every day. Ack :/.

I think I seen ants once in my town and it has beautiful ordinance though. I have a bunch of rotten apples on the ground for decoration and I saw some crawling on one. Haven't seen any since so maybe it was a glitch? X3

I came back here again just to mention that I restarted my town again for the 4th time since acnl was released. I feel like each town I've had represents a different phase of my life so far, and it seemed appropriate to reset again (plus I was just craving something new.) One thing that feels really cool to me is that I have these 9 gold roses and 1 black rose that I made in my first acnl town, which I made on the release day of acnl, and I still have them in this newest town. I love my pretty gold roses. Got some cool villagers, a nice map, and overall I'm just really happy with my decision to reset.
