Daily Dinosaur Fact #2: Despite commonly being depicted with feathers, none have ever been found on a Velociraptor fossil.

Daily Dinosaur Fact #3: While adult Tyrannosaurus probably did not have feathers, juveniles and babies could have had a fine covering of fluffy down feathers.

Daily Dinosaur Fact #4: When Sauropods were first found it was believed they used their long necks like a snorkel with their entire body submerged and just their nostrils above the water. This is now not the case since, if they were fully submerged, the pressure of the water would crush their lungs so now it is known they were full terrestrial and probably only went near water to drink or cross it.

Daily Dinosaur Fact #5: While Archaeopteryx is most often thought to be a gliding, early bird, there is some evidence that it is actually an ancestor for the "Raptor" dinosaurs, scientifically known as the Dromaeosaurus. They also could not only glide, but flap with powered flight.

In The Lost World (Crichton), a character mentions that long-necked dinos did not eat from the tops of trees and kept there necks more parallel to the ground. Has there been any evidence for or against this?

Do you think there will be dinos in the current event? What kind of dines would you like to see?

That is true for certain Sauropods, such as Diplodocus, Mamenchisaurus and Apatosaurus, however others did actually lift their necks up high and eat from the treetops. Brachiosaurus is the perfect example for this.

I would indeed love dinosaurs to be in the current event however it seems that it might be more ice age, which is long after the dinosaurs died out. The dinosaurs I would like to see if they are going to be included are Iguanodon, Megalosaurus, Hylaeosaurus, Therizinosaurus and Magyarosaurus.

Daily Dinosaur Fact #6: The smallest dinosaur, Microraptor, would be dwarfed by a domestic cat and, sadly, if it was alive today would probably fall prey to them.
