The Artist Army
Version III

Introduction
Welcome to the Artist Army for the third time! Still under the same management, though.
We are a free to join group of artists whom are all willing to help others with their art and art related problems. By offering critiques, redlines and advice, we help eachother as much as we can. Art discussions and artsy chat are also more than welcome here. All kind of art is allowed here, we do not limit ourselves to drawings only. You don't need to "join" to be a part of the Artist Army, simply posting here is more than enough. We have a strict set of rules, but by using your common sense, you won't be bothered by them.

How to join
Joining is simple. We have no form or a list, to join you simply start posting. You don't even need to ask to join, just jump right in. This club is free for all to join, so come join in on the fun. (:

Seperate divisions
Due to several reasons, the Artist Army has branched out to several threads covering specific subjects.

Rules
Updated: November 3 2012
General rules
    * Be respectful towards everyone. No rude comments will be tolerated.

    * If you feel offended, remain calm and contact an Artist Army staff member. Do not start any fights, it might've been a misunderstanding.

    * You are free to start art related discussions and share your opinion, but listen to the opinion of others as well. However, don't start discussions which point directly at someone.

    * Tracing and theft are not allowed. If you suspect someone of tracing/theft, contact an Artist Army staff member or a CS moderator if you're sure of it. Don't start fights in the thread.

    * This is not the thread to advertise your shops/design auctions. You are free to share the link to your artshop when posting art made for it, but spamming the link to it is not acceptable.

    * Posting links to pirated art software or free downloads is not allowed. Ever. Same goes for encouraging others to use illegal software. Don't do this.

When posting art & feedback
    * When posting art here, you are showing others that they may critique your work. You are free to say that you do not want critique (although this is not encouraged), but you must be able to take some critique when posting here.

    * Given critique should be constructive, which means that besides pointing out the flaws, you explain how to correct them too.

    * Redlines can only be given with permission, and please post that you want redlines to reduce waiting for permission.

    * When posting your own art, you mustn't forget about other people's art! Everyone deserves the same amount of feedback. If there is a drawing within 10 posts of your own then you must give the artist feedback before posting your own art. Not all feedback needs to be critique, you may just as well post something nice about the artwork!

    * Saying "I can't help with anyone's art" is not a valid excuse. Not everything has to be critique. A nice compliment is always welcome. However, don't hastily post one/two worded comments just so you can post your own art.

    * Don't post your livestream without having commented on other people's art recently.

    * When posting a link to a livestream, make sure that there are no other livestream links on the same page.

    * When referencing, also post the link(s) to the reference(s) which you used.

    * When posting art which includes nudity, be sure to cover the important spots. Alas, we cannot allow full nudity. If you however need help with full nude drawings, feel free to ask for help and PM someone who is willing to help.

    * Art of a sexual nature, excessive gore or generally distasteful art is not allowed. Again, if you need help with this, keep it to sending a PM to anyone willing to help.

In case you're still wondering about certain things, here are the official Creativity Rules.

Blacklist
It's sad to need to do this, but continued breaking of the rules calls for desperate measures. The blacklist will be a list of all members that have broken the rules. If you break the rules once, you get a strike. Three strikes and you're out. Permanently. That's right, if you keep breaking the rules, you will be banned from the Artist Army. After several months, your strikes can and will disappear if you follow the rules.

Sweet, new thread ~
/rolls all over it

Could I please get critique and a redline (if possible) on this piece? ^_^;
It's gift art for a friend, so I want to make it as good as I possibly can.

That looks great. :3 I'm not great on anatomy, but what I'd say is the horn on the horse looks very thin. Perhaps thicken it a little bit to make it more noticeable?
I love the wolf head. Your drawing is very beautiful.

*Bounces into new thread*

Gonna become more active here soon, hopefully. Just been busy with some personal matters, so sorry for staying away. xD
I need sleep now, but when I wake up I'll try to comment/critique on some things, and maybe post some art. C:

Looky here!

Nice shiney new thread!!

Fat Unicorn: I have the same critique for the horn, it is a bit thin, my recccomendation if you want a really thin horn, make it longer with a decent sized base but the length gives you time to make it thin.
Also maybe some shiney bits in the eyes of the unicorn might make it look pretty ^^
I do have to say I love the art though ;)

As you might now have heard, the horn is to thin. It looks to easy to break. Don't be afraid to make it thicker; actually, thicker horns make it looks more mystic and exotic, while a thin horn only makes it look weak.
Also you should think of the form of the head. The forhead look a little TO flat, for example.

----

An entry for a contest, think I got the anatomy of the Humanoid wrong...redline would be good.

ouo the army has really come along. I look forward to working with you guys again. I don't really know what I'm doing online right now I have to get ready but ah...

Whatever.

@solem well it is a anime/chibi kind of style you have going, so it's difficult to say much about anatomy. If you wanted to go for something more realistic in the future the biggest thing for me is a smaller head and smaller eyes with that.
