8D new thread<33
Just a quick question - did that seperate thread for new species ideas ever get off the ground? C:

Medusa's Cascade - asdfg so cute and chubby quq
The only thing is that the left back leg is longer than the others, so it looks a little off. Also, the way the ears are positioned would suggest a 3/4 view of the head, but the face is in profile. c:

I Am the Broken Rose- I often find it helpful when creating characters to look at color combinations that go well together. I also think it might help to take inspiration from already existing clothing, so maybe try google for that ^^ Either way, good luck.

Salt- The shoulder area is too small and the stomach caves in too much. Also, the knee bends too sharply. The neck also cuts off a bit too abruptly. It's a cool design though c:

Medusa's Cascade- My critique would be to not always draw in the same exact style. As I said the last time, you always draw fat animals, but I'd love to see you draw something very tall/skinny like a maned wolf or something. It's always good to broaden your horizons. If you want critique on the actual drawing, then you need to separate and distinguish each toe/finger instead of just rounding the whole end of the paw. The dew claw looks a bit low on the front leg. Beyond that, I can't really critique because it's so heavily stylized.

YESSSHHH!!!
I look forward to seeing it Nex. I know you worked hard on it, and generally anything you work hard on comes out shining brilliantly. Hell, even the things you don't work hard on look like that.

Yay yay yay yay!

New thread <3 They fill up so fast. I'm really looking forward to the species thread, though I haven't made any species yet myself.
Does anybody know, If I do make a species, can I still post it here until the other thread opens?

@Medusa's Cascade: I adore your art, it's just so cute looking! I understand if it is your style, but maybe you should make the head a bit bigger? It could just be the angle, though. I like how you didn't use defined lines for every part of its body, like the chest. It's cool that you're able to do that, really. I've been trying to use fewer lines for the longest, time, generally ending in terrible failure.

Since I never got crits before the old thread closed, anyone have any? ^^

Weeeeell, the back legs look too long compared to the front legs. And I agree with muggafinn, the head looks too small as well. Its so cute though, I wish I had your abiity to make everything I draw as cute as you do. ;u;
