They were bent wayy too far, and you forgot a joint in them.
also the back legs had the joints all mismatched; make sure the "elbows" and "knees" line up straight.

You know, I never got the chance to express just how much I love this. :)

What are y'all's ways of overcoming artist's block? I've just been... pretty emotionally drained lately, and can't seem to get things going again. I've popped in and doodled on the FTT xat but the only thing that I thought was going along well of course got erased over by someone being petulant...

Anyway, to try and contribute something, here's a super old sketch that was lurking in my Photobucket. Blarrrgh animuuu

Polar,

I'm glad that you find them useful. x)
And, thank you, I plan to. :3

-- Beautiful feline, btw! : O -- the anatomy, especially the face and way the legs bend is gorgeous. One thing I may say, though, is that the front legs seem a bit stubby. : O

Moony,

I have a few things I'd like to say in regards to your redline--

You draw legs REALLY short, and a bit too pudgy. You should try to pronounce the ankles more on the front legs, and slim them down, as well as give them a bit more length generally.

Also, I'm a bit confused... that line.. you lined up the elbow with the... ankle? What?

A wolf's knee is NOT where you have it lined up. A wolf's knee is up in that rounded bit of the leg-- http://museum2.utep.edu/mammalogy/images/mammskel.gif
What you have lined up now is the ankle, and that really makes no sense.

You are right, though, a wolf's elbow and knee should line up when standing-- you just need to know where the knee is first.
The picture you redlined appears to be crouching, though, so they won't line up anyway.

Haha, wish I could help with that, Harpalyce, but I never get artblock. xD
I tend to get ARTIST ADD, though. I know exactly what to draw, but I want to draw so many things that nothing gets done very quickly, lol.

Lol, that's alright, Moony. x)
I know when I look at something I've typed after being tired, the amount of typos and what not can be terrifying! xD
Then again, I'm already queen of the typo. Just about every message I've ever left on CS has been edited at least once, since I must fix my typos or severe grammatical errors, lol.

Thinking of hypercamming another drawing tonight. :3
my Youtube hasn't been updated with a speedpaint in months~

Ah thanks Susiron; I didn't realize they looked stubby till you mentioned it. I think its because I didn't define the leg further up. Let me know if this helped any. And don't mind the shoddy coloring so far. X3 I was just scribbling.
