I am due with a baby boy at the beginning of December. However, we are majorly struggling with names! My husband and I can't seem to agree on anything. At the official halfway mark to our due date, I'd love to hear some suggestions or ideas from the creative folks on CS.
About him:
- He will have 2 German Shepherd Dogs (Mission and Arko) and a feline (Konan) siblings.
- He is a "rainbow baby", after we lost our first pregnancy last year.
- He is very active in the womb and thinks my bladder is a very fun trampoline.
- He should have dark brown hair, unless my husband and I have some hidden surprise genetics.
- Our last name is a very harsh German name.
What we'd like in a name:
- Nothing overly common (John, Chris, David, etc)
- Nothing obnoxiously unique (looking at you all of Elon Musk's kids)
- Something mildly nerdy, like from a TV show or video game would be right up our alley, but not required.
My husband is VERY stuck on "Harold", which was my grandfather's name. I'd like him to have his own name, his own identity if you will, not have some great namesake to live up to. Plus Harold is so... old...
So there is a good chance that will be a middle name. I liked the name "Jack", "Theodore" (how cute would "Teddy" be), "Mason", "Kit"... all have been vetoed by hubby.
