Laptop Help

I'm in need of a laptop. The thing is I don't know what to get. I thought I would ask around to see what you guys think.

What I Need:
*It must run Adobe CS4 without any problems
*Must be ok with Sony Vegas if not an Apple
*Must have lots of hard drive and memory
*Up to date graphics card
*DVD capabilities
*Long lasting battery when programs are in use
*FAST


I also want ideas on what tablet I should get.

What I Need:
*In basic something thats at least 8x11
*Sturdy
*Not to pricey
*As easy to use as drawing on paper


Let me know what you think. Please post links to items if possible and list prices.

I have one, too; Dell Inspiron 1545. ^.^; It's good for stuff like schoolwork, but *probably* not heavy-duty usage. It has good battery life.... But, if you want a Dell, then I'd say go for a Dell Studio laptop. :3 I don't have one, but I've heard they're better in terms of performance! ^.^;

Or some IBM Thinkpad laptop; I've heard they're good....

Well, I don't know about laptops, but a tablet can be helped with. Have you ever heard of a Wacom Bamboo Tablet? Mine is simple, and it cost around $75. (That's cheap as far as tablets go. :3) I don't know the measurements, it's average-sized. Takes some practice to get the hang of, but after a while you can just breeze through with it. And they are sturdy, mine has taken multiple falls. xD

Does anyone know some place I can go to talk to someone on which one I should get. You know like a side by side compare thing. I live in the US so if its not via the web then it needs to be a corp type of place.

Go to a Future Shop or a Best Buy, pick out a couple of laptops that you want, tell them what you'd prefer in a laptop, and then ask them to help you analyze which one would work best for YOU? Idk; my Dad and I did that when picking out my laptop. ^.^;

No probz. ^.^; The guys at Future Shop and Best Buy and other stores like that (but don't go to Wal-Mart) really know their stuff! ^^;
