Welcome to the Katkins Nursery! We ask that you keep your voices down to a mew, as there are sleeping kittens~
Here is where you can breed any two katkins using lavender, jasmine, or rose incense bought at the Pawmarket. Each will result in a litter of katkin kittens, also known as kitkats or kits. The initial image you will see of your litter will have each kit's color palette, gender, and general design. After about one week, their growth will be posted on the nursery growths thread, which will show what features they have, their official design, and their eye color. Genders and features are rolled for using a random number-generating site, and will be a combination of both parents' genes.
N U R S E R Y__R U L E S
>> A single katkin can breed a total of three times. You must link to any previous breedings a katkin has had whenyou submit a litter request form.
>> Mates/breeding partners are not necessarily permanent; katkins can breed with different partners on different breeding tickets.
>> Only TWO katkins can be bred per litter.
>> Any two katkins can breed regardless of gender.
>> Do not complain if your litter does not have the features/gender/litter size you wanted, it is randomly generated so there is no room for complaining.
>> Only first generation(meaning, from the original adopts page and not from past breedings) katkins may breed at this time.
>> Kittens do not count towards your ownership total, meaning that you can own as many kits as you want. However, kittens do not contribute to your bimonthly income.
>> Only post a litter request form when a nursery artist has open slots. The requested artist will reply to you on this thread if your request has been accepted.
>> If two different users are breeding their katkins, whoever posts the form must provide proof that the other user approves of the breeding. This proof can be in the form of a screenshotted conversation between you two, or an additional post on this thread made by the other user.
>> Litter requests are accepted by artist on a first come, first serve basis.
D I S C L A I M E R
Bribery will not be tolerated in the katkins nursery. If an artist and/or community member is found to be guilty of bribery, both may be subject to expulsion from the community, their katkins may be repossessed by meveh (they may then be voided, readopted, or whatever consequence is viewed as suitable), and the litter produced from said bribery will be voided and deleted.
