Though not my sort of story, this is pretty well written- not something I see a lot of! You're definitely doing great writing what you know.

I tie my auburn-toned hair out of my face and look around. Maybe it's just me, but it looks worse. Mentally kicking myself for not checking out the other rooms first, I roll up the starch white sleeves of my shirt and get to work. It's can't be that bad, right?
