Here at the trading post you can find unique items and NPCs! You can also make your own little plot and trade with other people and Lumplens too!

FAQs

1. What is the Trading Post?
The trading post is a place to find unique NPCs and to also buy/sell/trade with other people too!

2. How does it work?
You can make a post with items you have up for trade as well as items you're looking for.

3. How far back should I look for posts?
The rule for bumping is 3 pages, so don't be afraid to look back up to 3 pages deep for potential trade posts!

4. How often does Cym stop by?
Cym stops by whenever Cym feels like it. It doesn't listen to any rules. You can't control it.

5. How often does Fidget's stock change?
Honestly varies depending on inspiration and how good his foraging is that week.

6. Can I trade Lumplens with other UMAs?
As long as those other UMAs also allow it- yes!

* Rules *

1. PRICE FAIRLY
If you're going to offer an item for LP, make sure it's a price reasonable to what's in the shop. We're not here to gauge people, we're here to have a good time! If you're unsure about pricing, feel free to ask!

2. DON'T BUMP TOO OFTEN
You may repost your listing every 3 pages. Don't bump more often than that to prevent flooding the feed. Tyvm.

3. Be nice!!
Y'all we're here to have a good time. If someone offers on an item you have and you aren't interested in the offer, just be polite about it. And if you offer on something and they say no- they don't owe you anything either. Please be respectful of other's decisions. If you have any issues or concerns, you're welcome to bring it up with a staff member. (Which is currently just apple :p)

4. You need proof of trade!
Once an offer is made, in order for the trade to be good, the other person of the trade (who didn't make the offer post) must quote the offer and accept! Once that happens, the items are swapped for good. (No take backsies! Unless you both mutually agree to trade again).

5. Both Usernames must be listed on the form!!
This is to avoid any potential confusion about similar usernames, having their # after it helps even *more* because if they ever change their username, their # will stay the same still. This way mods can help make sure people own what they say they own more easily.

6. Cooldowns and Trade Caps
Alright, within the first 3 days of you receiving a Lumplen, you may not trade it. If you recieved it from a litter, you may color swap within that time (which means trading for others within the litter), but that is it. ALSO. When using C$ or LP for trading Lumplens- the max you can offer is either C$150 OR 8000LP (you may not combine the two once the cap is reached).

- How to Use the Trading Post -

The main purpose of the trading post is to allow a space for players to exchange items with other people, whether by putting out a list of items they're in search of vs items they're offering, or by posting about an exchange they agreed upon with another player. This helps us keep track of how things got where and also makes a way for people to maybe collect items they missed or just don't want to wait to get their hands on.

Here's a basic example of what your post might look like:

You're welcome to make yours as pretty as you'd like, in fact, I'll leave the blank plot picture down below for you to use to customize as you please. You can add pictures, link to your co-op, whatever works best for you.

If you would like to have a semi-permanent trade post within the thread, make sure you include the tag "trade-center" within the post so users can use the search function to find trade hubs if wanted
