Long ago, in a galaxy many light-years away from our home in the Milky Way, and old planet by the name of Ckejn (Kejin) was in mass turmoil. It's earth-like atmosphere had been shredded by a dark and ancient magic, as an almost as ancient population of otter-like creatures, named Nebulotters, fought and perished against an evil usurper's forces. The usurper, a young, ambitious Nebulotter named Tsharr, seized and destroyed the royal throne of Aejor and it's King. All was seemingly lost as the dark sorcery consumed the power-hungry usurper and eventually leaving Ckejn as a wasteland of death and disease.
However, King Aejor VII, knowing his fate, organised a small fleet of Nebulotters to escape the dying planet and seek refuge. Of the 10 escape ships released, eight made it out of Ckejn's atmosphere, five managed their way out of the galaxy and...
The young Nebulotter trailed off, her glowing mane rippled as she shook her head slightly. She frowned, trying to read the glyphs on the paper in front of her. "They don't make any sense after this." she flipped the orientation of the page with her paw, a frustrated sigh escaped her lips, "I'm sorry, but there's no way of deciphering this..." she looks up with her rose coloured eyes, "I guess we'll never have a definite number of how many survived and what happened when they made it to earth. We could try to find their descendants though, maybe some will have some more information." the Nebulotter smiled, showing small white pearl sized teeth, and closed the book gently.
