I was incredibly lonely at that time.
It happens when you're in a decrepit bedroom for so long.
I decided to leave.
I could argue that it was a stupid move on my part.
I could also argue that it was the best decision I've ever made.
I wanted to make friends, but I wasn't sure where to start.
Mostly I was afraid of the reaction I'd get showing up and saying:
'Well hello, I noticed you looking for me earlier and finally worked up the nerve to say hello. Oh, no I'm not a ghost. I'm just an interdimensional being here on questionable business. Really, I don't know what it is.'
Lurking was far less terrifying.
