Bringer of Autumn

[EresTheRat]

All day he chases the shining gemstone dangling from his very own horn. Oblivious to the change he creates and the mischief he brings, he runs. Never stopping. Never setting his sights upon anything but his guiding light. As he steps, brilliantly colored leaves fan out across the ground. Crops bear their last harvest. Animals search for a place to hide until he and the changes he wrought upon the land have long passed. The clouds follow him. The moon searches for his light. He is the bringer of Autumn.

I wrote that in 2 minutes, excuse the crap. I thought a nice little story would explain my thought process better than anything else could.

I really like the idea of a dragon bringing on the seasons, and your writing isn't crap some of my best writing is off the top of my head so seems to be the case for you as well. great work!

Thank you! I'm not sure how I came to the season idea idea, but I put that hanging gem on his horn and I thought 'yep, that's a nice idea.'
