Only One Color?

He lived in a world where everything was one shade of blue or another. Everything but a patch of fur on his chest, which shone a vibrant red. His parents were terrified. What would the other inhabitants of the blue world think? There was nothing else like this "red" in the world. He would never fit in! But everyone who saw him was amazed. They had been looking at nothing but blue their whole lives! They were tired of one color and nothing but one color, and something different was a sight for sore eyes!

In our world, a world full of many colors, it may be easy to take variety for granted. Some may even not accept differences. However, they should be not only accepted, but embraced. After all, how dull would it be to live in a world with only one color?
