Ah, I love the color scheme you went with and the design so much! The only thing I have to say is that the big area of red (orange?) on the back stands out so much almost to the point of stealing attention away from the rest of the design That may just be me though. I think just sticking to some smaller red details like you did on the legs would have fit in better. Other than that it looks wonderful!

My first thought was strawberry but now I can kind of see watermelon in this pup too lol. The hair is really cool - the style (and color) really reminds me of Disney (Ariel). Lol. :) But I really love the movement here - I'm not sure - I kinda like the red back but I can see how it does draw the eye. I'll admit it took me a second to get down to the little details on the legs because the face/body drew most of the attention. Not that that's a bad thing really!
I would say in my personal taste I would've died if the flowers on the crown were white rather than pink but that might just be me lol.
