Trick-or-treat! I choose trick!

A young little cat with strange wing and lion like tail comes up to your door saying the popular phrase for Halloween. "Trick or treat!" You open the door with a bowl filled with candy. The cat like creature jumps at the door with a wand in it's tail yelling, "I choose trick!" The creature then grabbed the bowl of candy and ran off. You wonder why on earth a small creature on Halloween would be so greedy for candy.
